Zheng Feng Dried Yam 正豐 淮山

Zheng Feng is a major Chinese producer of dried fruits, farm produce, processed foods, and spices. Zhengfeng, or Zheng Feng's, Dried Yam is a much-loved ingredient in Chinese cuisine. Its Chinese name “Shan Yao” translates as “mountain medicine”. It is a potato-like, root vegetable which is not only commonly used in Chinese dishes but also in traditional medicine. Its mildly sweet and earthy flavour suits a wide variety of soups, stews, congees, and desserts.
